What is the P-SHOT®?
P-Shot® is essentially your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injected into certain areas of your penis.
First, a local anesthetic lidocaine and tetracaine cream is applied to the penis for numbing. Then your blood is drawn from your vein and spun in a special centrifuge that separates your red blood cells from plasma.
It’s the plasma that is rich in platelets and growth factors. Lastly, the PRP is placed in a syringe and a 30-gauge (aka “tiny”) needle is used to painlessly inject the PRP into certain areas of the penis.
What problems does the P-Shot® address and How does it work?
Growth factors that are concentrated from your own PRP can stimulate new blood vessels, nerve, and connective tissue growth essentially resulting in increasing and improving blood flow to your penis, longer and harder erections.
Beso Wellness and Beauty provides the P-Shot® in the Phoenix metro area for male patients looking to effectively address sexual performance problems or further enhance sexual performance (extra boost never hurt anybody 🙂).
Being unable to achieve or maintain a satisfactory erection can have a dramatic effect on your relationships, and can affect your self-esteem in and out of the bedroom. With the Priapus P-Shot®, you can effectively correct these issues.
P-Shot® also treats Peyronie’s disease, a condition that causes curvature of the penis. PRP is injected into the penis, specifically into the area of concern that causes curvature.
As a side perk, P-Shot® adds girth, and size to the penis and improves urinary incontinence and prostate discomfort.
Am I a Good Candidate for THE P-Shot®?
The best candidates for a P-Shot® treatment are healthy men who want to enhance their sexual health and performance.
The P-Shot® is a good option for men who want to try a treatment with a very low chance of complications. Since the platelet-rich plasma will come from the patient’s blood sample, the PRP concentrate is a safe and natural formula with less risk of allergic reaction.
This treatment is suitable for candidates who are committed to coming in for maintenance treatments. Depending on the recommendation during the consultation, you may need a P-Shot® session every 12 months.
Your P-Shot® Session
The session will begin with cleaning the injection site. Your blood sample will then be collected and used to create the platelet concentrate. This won’t take more than 20 minutes.
Once the PRP concentrate is ready, the selected areas for treatment will be prepared for injection. The PRP will then be injected into the treatment sites. After the P-Shot treatment, you can resume your daily activities.
When Can You See the Effects?
It takes anywhere from 8-12 weeks for the new blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue to form. In some cases, multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired effect.
In many cases, we integrate the P-Shot® with Shockwave therapy treatments, peptides, and other therapies.
P-Shot® Aftercare
There is no downtime or recovery time needed after a P-Shot® treatment. You may resume sexual activity the day of the procedure. After your session, you may need to take a break from exercise for a short period of time.
Avoid bathing or swimming in the first 24 hours after the treatment. Stay away from excessively hot or cold temperatures for at least 72 hours after the session.
